Product Engineer
Status: Full Time
Team/Role: Product Engineering and Support
Requirement:

Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or Aerospace Engineering or its equivalent

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for engineering aspects of any related repair component within the product portfolio and support to New Product Introduction (NPI) programs

Update and implement repair scopes into ASSB existing repair capability

Prepare written instructions and procedures for the individual repairs and publish for production use

Develop and compile repair documentation according to approved engineering data

Optimize existing repair procedures to improve in-process rejection and rework

Evaluate and to update applicable changes from revised OEM Manual and to incorporate it into the internal ASSB work instructions e.g. Process Instructions, Special Instructions, etc

Conduct and oversee First Article Inspections (FAI)

Support production in investigating customer complaints to identify the root causes and implement effective corrective actions

Provide technical support to production in resolving repair related issues particularly duing FAI, NPI phases and ramp-up periods

Communicate with OEM on all engineering topics, vendors with regards to any engineering task or component repair, shareholders and respective Engineers
NDT Inspector
Status: Full Time/Permenant
Team/Role: Production
Requirement:
- Minimum Certificate in NDT, Aircraft Maintenance Technology, Mechanical, Quality Assurance, Inspection or related field
- At least 2 years working experience in NDT field or its equivalent
- Experience in aircraft parts inspection and possess NDT Level 2 (PT, UT, RT, ET), will be an added advantage
- Good communication skills in both English and Bahasa Melayu (spoken and written)
Responsibilities:
- Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on aircraft parts (engine components) within the scope of authorized qualification coverage in accordance with approved manuals, procedures, specifications, and quality standards
- Operate NDT equipment (e.g., PT, MT, UT or other applicable methods) and ensure proper handling of tools and test materials
- Interpret and evaluate test results to identify defects or discontinuities in accordance with acceptance criteria
- Complete NDT reports and related documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Comply and support Enviremntmenal Health & Safety policies, rules and regulations
Process Engineer
Status: Full Time/Permenant
Team/Role: Process Engineering
Requirement:
- Degree in Aerospace/Material Science/Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or its equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience as a Process Engineer or Mechanical Engineer

Working experience in Maintenance Repair and Overhaul within an aviation environment is an added advantage

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for process engineering aspects of any related repair component within the product portfolio and support to New Product Introduction (NPI) programs
- Introduce and implement new repair processes into the production lines
- Create and support Technical Work Instruction (TWI) and other related technical documents
- Perform and supervise commissioning and acceptance of equipment and machinery
- Develop detailed process procedures and/or compile the documentation for the individual repair process and efficiently implement the processes
- Optimize existing repair procedures to improve in-process rejection and rework
- Support, perform (if required) and supervise First Article Inspections (FAI) activities
- Evaluate and to update applicable changes from revised Original Engine Manufacturer (OEM) Manual and to incorporate it into internal work instruction e.g. Process Instructions, etc
- Support Production in improving the effectiveness of production lines with regards to processes in identifying the root cause and provide its solutions to the problems
- Liaise with Maintenance and Product Engineering team to develop and modify tools as and when necessary to improve a specific process
- Carry out a continuous improvement to the effectiveness of processes with regards to consumable materials
- Communicate with OEM on all engineering topics, vendors with regards to any engineering task or component repair, shareholders and respective Engineers
Quality Assurance Executive (QMS)
Status: Full Time
Team/Role: QA Department
Requirement:
- Minimum Degree or equivalent in aviation related field
- Minimum 3 years working experience in similar or other industries
- Experience with Part 145 Maintenance Organization Regulatory Requirement is preferred
- Familiar with ISO 9001 or AS9110 quality management system
- Preferably attended internal quality audit course and/or lead auditor course is an added advantage
- Knowledge of Quality Tools such as Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) is an added advantage
- Good technical report writing skills
- Good problem solving and decision making skills
- Good interpersonal skills and able to work cohesively with other stakeholders
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Bahasa Melayu
- Good computer skills especially with Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
Responsibilities:
Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for Quality System/Technical Documentation Control/Product Quality related tasks.
- Quality System related tasks consist of Internal Audit Compliance, Safety Management System, Maintenance of Documentation & Procedure, Company Authorization, Aviation Authority Regulatory Compliance & Customers Liaison and Vendor Management
- Technical Documentation related tasks include Administration Control of OEM Data & Access, Airworthiness Directive Updates, Quality Records (Regulatory/Company), Control of Standards and Control of Technical Publications (VRS, TO, Others)
- Product oriented related tasks includes Customer Complaint Management, Technical Investigation, Inspection oversight (Certifying Staff and Inspectors) (including Certifying Staff/Inspector Technical Training Requirements) and Implementation of Product Quality Requirements
General Functions
- Performs Quality Assurance duties and functions of quality system/technical documentation control/product quality as outlined in sections below.
- Perform any task as required by Quality Assurance Manager or any other person designated by him or her

Specific Functions
Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Perform quality oversight per planned and ad-hoc internal audit, spot check and report noncompliances and deviations
- Assist QA Section Manager to coordinate and perform audit activities per regulatory authorities and ASSB’s customer requirement
- Assist Section Manager to maintain Company Quality System and ensure all maintenance approvals held by ASSB is valid at all time
- Monitor the completion of CARs and provides follow-up check to monitor compliance with recommended remedial action
- Generate/ evaluate root cause analysis, corrective/ preventive actions
- Ensure Company’s MPM, QAR and Forms Manual are updated as per requirement
- Quality monitoring and performing on-site audit to supplier and sub-contractor
- Conduct Company Authorization Examinations and regulatory trainings to employees
- Assist Product Quality as of when necessary
- Prepare monthly, weekly as well as technical investigation reports
Technical Documentation Control
- Maintain an effective and efficient administrative system for the control of documents and maintenance records
- Notify QAM, EM and engineers of receipt of new documents and revision of OEM Manuals (raise evaluation form)
- Upkeep and maintenance of Quality System Manual and Procedure
- Liaise closely with Line Controllers for the timely transfer of Routing Cards and ARCs to the Document Control Center
CMM Program Engineer
Status: Full Time
Team/Role: Zero Defects
Requirement:
- Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering or its equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in CMM programming or tooling design & fabrication or process engineering. Knowledge and practical experience in CMM programming and Measurement in Mituitoyo and/or Zeiss systems
- Experience with CMM programming software such as Mcosmos, PC-DMIS, Calypso, etc
- Knowledge in 3D modelling CAD design, manufacturing and machining process of jigs & fixtures (CAD/CAM)
- Knowledge in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) and Management System Analysis (MSA)
- Good knowledge of Minitab and Autocad software
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain CMM programs for production, FAI, R&D and other applications.
- Assist in creating accurate and repeatable CMM programs based on end-user’s requirements
- Assist in validating CMM programs by conducting First Article Inspection (FAI) or applicable MSA studies and adjust the program as necessary to ensure accuracy
- Upkeep and maintain currency of production used CMM program
- Troubleshoot and resolve all technical issues relating to the machine and be the focal point representing ASSB to liaise with the vendor for all matters relating to the CMM
- Prioritize and utilize of all production CMMs to cater for the various needs (measurement of “live” parts, program development for FAI, KVP and R&D activities initiated by Engineering)
- Support Metrology Laboratory in CMM Programming, if required
- Comply with and support Environmental, Health & Safety policies, rules and regulations at all times
- Other tasks as assigned
