Section Manager Maintenance

Status: Full Time

Team/Role: Maintenance


Requirement:

  • Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • With at least 5 years of similar working experience will be preferred for the job.
  • Good planning. analytical and organization skills will be preferred for the job.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Good in leadership skills.
  • Good computer skills especially with Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement and maintain effective Machine & Equipment maintenance and support services to Production Department in accordance with Company and other regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee all major repairs and modifications at the Plant & Facility with regards to safety and compliance requirements.
  • Operate an effective system of recording. Analysis and monitoring of reported defects, breakdowns on equipment, facilities and other incidents to enable appropriate decisions or actions to be taken to minimize productivity shut down.
  • Ensure that the personnel are in possession of correct skills, are given appropriate training and up-to-date with the latest methods, procedures and requirements.
  • Ensure that the implemented TPM-Activities are performed and reviewed.
  • Plan, establish & maintain an effective & economical maintenance system.
  • Manage Plant & Facility personnel, facilities and servicing works.
  • Responsible for ensuring effective periodic facilities maintenance records are maintained for audit and verification purposes.
  • Formulate an efficient inventory system to provide adequate spares support for the maintenance of the facilities and equipments.
  • Supervise facility support service contract:
    • Waste Management
    • Water Treatment
    • Sanitary Services
    • Pest Control
  • Supervision of all work contractors in the ASSB facility.

Infrastructure

  • Landscape Services.

Store & Inventory

Principal Engineer (Managerial Position)

Status: Full Time

Team/Role: Engineering


Requirement:

  • Minimum Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Aeronautical Engineering
  • At least 8 years of experience in MRO industry with extensive knowledge in repair processes of gas turbine engine components
  • Good knowledge of special processes such as welding, coatings, surface treatments, machining, etc
  • Past experiences in dealing with OEMs on source demonstration processes, repair substantiation and process qualification
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and other language will be an added advantage
  • Good computer skills, especially in MS Office, i.e. Power Point, Words and Excel
  • Self-driven with strong analytical thinking skill

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, guide and coach direct reports
  • Ensure all engineering staff possess the necessary skills, are given appropriate training, are up to date on the latest repair methods, procedures, requirements and technolog
  • Develop new repairs for various engine OEMs
  • Consult and liaise with various authorities, OEMs and share holders, representing ASSB as the focal point and subject matter expert for all technical questions
  • Provide engineering guidelines for individual repair programs within the company maintenance program
  • Ensure all technical information, instructions and clarifications are authorized, controlled and provided to ASSB staff in a timely manner that meets company and regulatory requirements
  • Identify the need for new repairs on existing product capability to improve yield
  • Responsible to undertake the necessary corrective and preventive actions resulting from quality non-compliance monitoring and audit program

IT Executive II

Status: Permanent

Team/Role: IT


Requirement:

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience and 2 years in an IT administrator position
  • Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or related discipline
  • Preferably MCSE/MCSA and CCNP/CCNA certified
  • Experienced in network planning, maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Familiar with latest Windows Server, VERITAS Net Backup, MS SQL, Cisco switch, Checkpoint, IronPort, Bluecoat and VMware
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Bahasa Melayu
 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and troubleshooting on operational requirement, system administration and maintenance of computer and communication software, hardware and network (i.e. LAN/WAN, hub, PC, printers, fax/modem)
  • Identify, define and implement IT hardware/software and network requirements
  • Perform administration & troubleshooting servers and end user workstation
  • Perform backup and disaster recovery procedures for the company’s data and perform basic network troubleshooting and tuning
  • Manage and monitor network utilization to ensure reliable performance
  • Follow up on desktop, network and applications issues and troubleshoot systems in a timely manner to minimize system downtime as well as provide technical support to unresolved issues brought to attention

Requirement:

  • Minimum Degree in Human Resource or Business Administration or its equivalent

  • Good knowledge in Compensation & Benefits Administration
  • Good knowledge in establishing the Company HR SOPs, Rules and Regulations and the ability to interpret HR Policies
  • Good knowledge in Malaysia Employment Act and Industrial Relation Act
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Interact well with people from different levels and cultures

Responsibilities:

Recruitment

  • Manage all matters related to recruitment activities which include placement, sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates
  • Involve in recruitment process which include analysis of manpower, recruitment methods, conduct interview, selection and pre-employment
  • Assist in the application for the foreign workers including documentations, visa and follow up with agents and local authoritie
  • Conduct orientation program

 

Employees Relation

  • Issuance of letter of offer and other necessary documents for the newly recruited employees
  • Follow up with the newly recruited employees on the necessary documents required as documentary evidence in the personnel file
  • Issuance of HR letters i.e. confirmation of employment to the probationers, stamp approval holder’s allowance, re-designation promotion and/or  acceptance of resignation letter for resigned employees and etc
  • Enroll newly confirmed employees into the company insurance policy and delete resigned employees from the company insurance policy
  • Assist yearly performance appraisal
  • Submit company’s insurance claim or SOCSO claim for injured employees
  • Updating employee’s data base in the HRIS and ensuring documents are filed in their personal file in chronological order
  • Check employees’ daily attendance and report absenteeism to HODs/ Section Managers/Leaders accordingly
  • Adhere, monitor and control all compensation and benefits entitled to the employees
  • Liaise with Company panel clinic for update information on staff

Industrial Relations

  • Handle counseling and employee grievances
  • Conduct investigation on employee misconduct cases and assist in the industrial relations process
  • Issuance of disciplinary letter and keep track of the progress improvement
  • Follow through with Labour Office and/or Company’s appointed credit company on payment in lieu of notice for absconded employees
  • Liaise with the local authority for any dispute and grievances

 

Payroll

  • Create the employee’s data base for the newly recruited employee in the payroll system
  • Ensure all the payroll preparation, processing, finalizing and reporting complete within the monthly payroll schedule for employees, ITC, internship student and foreign workers
  • Print and issued the monthly employee’s pay slips within timeline
  • Generate and issued yearly EA forms in accordance to the statutory regulations within timeline
  • Cross reference check on the accuracy of payroll done by co-colleague(s)
  • Able to take over payroll activity in the absence of the co-colleague

 

Management and Administration

  • Implement and coordinate HR function, activities and company’s policy in relation to management of Human Resource
  • Perform operational HR tasks including coordination with caterer, newspaper deliveries and third parties provider related to HR operational
  • Manage general office administration and the issuance of the controlled inventories
  • Ensure timely and proper updating of information, systematic filing and its traceability

Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Engineer

Status: Full Time

Team/Role: Section Manager- EHS


Requirement:

 

  • Minimum Degree in Environment, Health and Safety or its equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in a similar or other industries
  • DOSH registered Safety & Health Officer or completed the DOSH certified Safety & Health Officer course and examination
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Bahasa Melayu
  • Good computer skills especially with Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc

Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist in the development and implementation of EHS new system to ensure the continual improvement of environment, health and safety on site
  • Assist in the deployment of EHS plant-wide programs and policies
  • Investigate accidents, environmental incidents, near misses, dangerous occurrences, unsafe acts & conditions, which have happened in the Company and ensure that the corrective actions are effective and reports are closed in a timely manner
  • Collect, report, analyze and maintain EHS statistic on accident, occupational poisoning and disease as well as environmental performance on a monthly basis
  • Monitor the compliance of storage and disposal of scheduled waste in accordance to Scheduled Waste Regulations and update related documentation with regards to the scheduled waste such as e-consignment note, inventories and schedules waste contractor licenses
  • Plan and organize EHS monitoring activities such as stack and LEV monitoring, machinery certificate of fitness and audiometric program; and take action to rectify the issue should the matters arise
  • Conduct EHS workplace inspection and OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 internal audit activities
  • Maintain the OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System documentation system
  • Support authority bodies i.e. DOSH, DOE, BOMBA etc in the site inspection during authority visit
  • Act as a secretary to Safety, Health and Environmental committee and assist the committee in organizing and implementing occupational safety and health program at work place
  • Provide advice, assistance, guidance and interpretation to the management and employees in all relevant areas of EHS, risk management, and related legislation

  • Ensure inventory and raw material required in the production line are planned systematically using established inventory management methods (including demand forecasting, Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), reorder point & quantity, safety stock, etc.)
  • Responsible for indirect purchasing for the assigned functional areas – planning and purchasing materials, parts, equipment and services in a timely and cost effective manner while maintaining appropriate quality standards and specifications. The indirect purchases include investment of goods and capital equipmen
  • Champion category management approach – analysis of current position, strategy development, strategy selection and strategy implementation
  • Maintain, update and assure compliance with approved supplier list

 

Maintenance Technician

Status: Full Time

Requirement:

  • Minimum Certificate / Professional Certificate or Diploma in electrical field or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in related field
  • Possess technical trouble shooting skills
  • Self motivated and possess good working attitude

Responsibilities:

    • Responsible to perform preventive maintenance task for machines and building regarding mechanical, electrical and electronic components
    • Able to plan, organize and prioritize given tasks
    • Good knowledge of various test equipment
    • Able to understand and read machines or facility equipment such as operation manual, mechanical diagrams, electrical schematic diagrams or robotic system
    • Able to diagnose and repairs or replace faulty electronic components such as PLC, motor control, transformers, chiller and electrical components by using variety of testing devices
    • Perform maintenance administrative duties such as maintaining equipment records and preparing reports of day to day tasks
    • Understand and able to execute 5S and TPM according to standards

Store Assistant

Status: Full Time

Requirement:

  • Minimum Certificate or Diploma in Business Studies, Supply Chain or equivalent

  • Good time management skills and ability to interact at all levels
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision and possessing good working attitude

Responsibilities:

  • Control and correct storage of all items in the Maintenance Store and other storage areas assigned to his jurisdiction
  • Check and receive delivered supplies, materials, spare parts and equipment within the timeline of delivery as specified in the Purchase Order
  • Verify that delivered goods match purchase order specifications of quantity, condition, model number, and forwards to Central Receiving
  • Re-pack, label and arrange the incoming material by Part No. (“Inventory No”) into the allocated location
  • Monitor and update incoming and outgoing material or consumable item in the system on daily basis
  • Store consumables safely and correctly as required by the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and any quality & safety requirements set by the Quality Department and the EHS engineer; especially chemicals and shelf life items
  • Assist in weekly cycle count of inventory materials based on system and assists in conducting complete physical inventory count annually
  • Assist in maintaining warehouse and inventory yard areas for efficient material storage and handling; maintains labeling system on each stock item; manually stocks inventory shelving with stock items received or returned

  • Minimum Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)/ Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM)/ Majlis Latihan Vokasional Kebangsaan (MLVK)
  • Welding Technology/ Quality Assurance/ Manufacturing Technology/ Mechanical/ Mechatronic certificate is an added advantage
