Customer Support Executive II (Contract Based)

Status: Contract Based

Product Engineer

Status: Full Time

Team/Role: Product Engineering and Support


Requirement:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or Aerospace Engineering or its equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of MRO experience in an aviation environment is an advantage
  • Able to read technical materials, develop analysis and make recommendations
  • Familiarity with processes such as TIG Welding, Plasma Spray, Heat Treatment, Machining, Shot Peening, Welding Technology or Diffusion bonding/coating, Non-Destructive Test: RT (Digital Radiography) or Penetrant Testing (PT) or Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) and Measurement System Analysis (MSA) methodology
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, quality management and continuous improvement
  • Initiative, analytical and able to manage multiple tasks
 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for engineering aspects of any related repair component within the product portfolio and support to New Product Introduction (NPI) programs
  • Update and implement repair scopes into ASSB existing repair capability
  • Prepare written instructions and procedures for the individual repairs and publish for production use
  • Develop and compile repair documentation according to approved engineering data
  • Optimize existing repair procedures to improve in-process rejection and rework
  • Evaluate and to update applicable changes from revised OEM Manual and to incorporate it into the internal ASSB work instructions e.g. Process Instructions, Special Instructions, etc
  • Conduct and oversee First Article Inspections (FAI)
  • Support production in investigating customer complaints to identify the root causes and implement effective corrective actions
  • Provide technical support to production in resolving repair related issues particularly duing FAI, NPI phases and ramp-up periods
  • Communicate with OEM on all engineering topics, vendors with regards to any engineering task or component repair, shareholders and respective Engineers

Advance Tooling Engineer

Status: Full Time

Team/Role: VSE


Requirement:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering or its equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in tooling development or similar capacity
  • Experience in an MRO environment will be an added advantage
  • Practical experience in Project Management
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma methodology and Lean principles is an added advantage
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end tooling development lifecycle
  • Skilled in 3D modelling CAD/CAM and machining process of jigs & fixtures
  • Knowledge in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T)
  • Strong in Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), Management System Analysis (MSA), Reverse Engineering & Rapid Prototyping skills

Responsibilities:

  • Lead tooling development for NPI projects and Engineering/Production request from design, fabrication to hand-over
  • Establish tooling cost investment, investment justification and lead time planning
  • Propose and develop tooling concepts to meet technical and operational requirements
  • Design tooling, review and accept vendor tooling designs
  • Manage tooling fabrication activities internally and with approved exyernal vendors
  • Implement Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles in tooling design

  • Experience in welding processes, including TIG welding and understanding of weld specifications and standards, will be an added advantage

Responsibilities:

  • Perform welding on aircraft parts (engine components) within the scope of authorized qualification coverage in accordance with approved manuals, welding procedures, specifications and quality standards
  • Set up and operate welding equipment (e.g. TIG welding machine) and ensure proper handling of tools and materials

NDT Inspector

Requirement:

  • Minimum Certificate in NDT, Aircraft Maintenance Technology, Mechanical, Quality Assurance, Inspection or related field 
  • At least 2 years working experience in NDT field or its equivalent
  • Experience in aircraft parts inspection and possess NDT Level 2 (PT, UT, RT, ET), will be an added advantage 
  • Good communication skills in both English and Bahasa Melayu (spoken and written)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on aircraft parts (engine components) within the scope of authorized qualification coverage in accordance with approved manuals, procedures, specifications, and quality standards
  • Operate NDT equipment (e.g., PT, MT, UT or other applicable methods) and ensure proper handling of tools and test materials
  • Interpret and evaluate test results to identify defects or discontinuities in accordance with acceptance criteria

Machinist

Status: Full Time/Permenant

Requirement:

  • Minimum Certificate in Industrial Machinery, Mechanical, Aircraft Maintenance Technology or related field
  • At least 2 years working experience in machining or operating industrial machinery
  • Experience in operating machine (e.g. CNC Milling) will be an added advantage

Responsibilities:

  • Operate machining equipment (e.g. CNC Milling) on aircraft parts (engine components) within the scope of authorized qualification coverage in accordance with approved manuals and procedures. specifications
  • Ensure machined parts meet required dimentions, tolerances and quality standards
  • Use precision measuring instruments (e.g. vernier caliper) to verify dimensions

Inspector (Visual)

Status: Full Time/Permenant

Requirement:

  • Minimum Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Technology, Mechanical,  Quality Assurance, Inspection or related field
  • At least 2 years working experience in metal piece inspection, aviation industry or equivalent
  • Experience in aircraft parts inspection, including dimensional and visual inspection processes will be an added advantage
  • Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Melayu (spoken and written)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual inspection on aircraft parts (engine components) within the scope of authorized qualification coverage in accordance with the approved manuals, specifications and quality standards
  • Use basic inspection tools eg. vernier caliper and measuring instruments
  • Complete inspection records and documentation accurately and timely 
  • Interpret and apply manuals, Technical Work Instructions (TWI), Process Instructions (PI) and repair process limits accurately

Process Engineer

Status: Full Time/Permenant

Team/Role: Process Engineering


Requirement:

  • Degree in Aerospace/Material Science/Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or its equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of working experience as a Process Engineer or Mechanical Engineer
  • Working experience in Maintenance Repair and Overhaul within an aviation environment is an added advantage
  • Able to read technical material, develop analysis and make recommendations
  • Good knowledge and experience in one or more of the following processes preferred: TIG Welding, Plasma Spray, Heat Treatment, Machining, Shot Peening, Welding Technology or Diffusion bonding/coating
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement, quality management and lean principles

Responsibilities:

 
  • Responsible for process engineering aspects of any related repair component within the product portfolio and support to New Product Introduction (NPI) programs
  • Introduce and implement new repair processes into the production lines 
  • Create and support Technical Work Instruction (TWI) and other related technical documents
  • Perform and supervise commissioning and acceptance of equipment and machinery 
  • Develop detailed process procedures and/or compile the documentation for the individual repair process and efficiently implement the processes
  • Optimize existing repair procedures to improve in-process rejection and rework
  • Support, perform (if required) and supervise First Article Inspections (FAI) activities
  • Evaluate and to update applicable changes from revised Original Engine Manufacturer (OEM) Manual and to incorporate it into internal work instruction e.g. Process Instructions, etc
  • Support Production in improving the effectiveness of production lines with regards to processes in identifying the root cause and provide its solutions to the problems
  • Liaise with Maintenance and Product Engineering team to develop and modify tools as and when necessary to improve a specific process
  • Carry out a continuous improvement to the effectiveness of processes with regards to consumable materials
  • Communicate with OEM on all engineering topics, vendors with regards to any engineering task or component repair, shareholders and respective Engineers

Quality Assurance Executive (QMS)

Status: Full Time

Team/Role: QA Department


Requirement:

  • Minimum Degree or equivalent in aviation related field
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in similar or other industries
  • Experience with Part 145 Maintenance Organization Regulatory Requirement is preferred
  • Familiar with ISO 9001 or AS9110 quality management system
  • Preferably attended internal quality audit course and/or lead auditor course is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of Quality Tools such as Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) is an added advantage
  • Good technical report writing skills
  • Good problem solving and decision making skills

Specific Functions

Quality Management Systems (QMS)

  • Perform quality oversight per planned and ad-hoc internal audit, spot check and report non­compliances and deviations
  • Assist QA Section Manager to coordinate and perform audit activities per regulatory authorities and ASSB’s customer requirement
  • Assist Section Manager to maintain Company Quality System and ensure all maintenance approvals held by ASSB is valid at all time
  • Monitor the completion of CARs and provides follow-up check to monitor compliance with recommended remedial action
  • Generate/ evaluate root cause analysis, corrective/ preventive actions
  • Ensure Company’s MPM, QAR and Forms Manual are updated as per requirement
  • Quality monitoring and performing on-site audit to supplier and sub-contractor
  • Conduct Company Authorization Examinations and regulatory trainings to employees
  • Assist Product Quality as of when necessary

  • Monitor completion of SNCs/ investigation reports and provides follow-up check to monitor compliance with recommended remedial action
  • Generate/ evaluate root cause analysis, corrective/ preventive actions
  • Identify opportunities for quality system and quality process improvements to improve the quality of the end-product
  • Evaluate and validate process validation protocols (such as FAI, NPI, Deviation Management, MMI, PCN, etc), reports, and results prepared by engineers to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Provide Expert Guidance: Act as a key resource in identifying gaps or inconsistencies in validation processes and recommend improvements to enhance quality outcomes
  • Evaluate MSA studies conducted by engineering teams to ensure measurement systems are accurate, precise, and capable of supporting quality objectives
  • Prepare monthly, weekly as well as technical investigation reports

Production Support

  • Minimum Diploma holder in any discipline

Assistant ERP Business Project Lead

Status: Permanent

Team/Role: IT


Requirement:

  • 2–3 years’ experience in project coordination, ERP systems, or business process support
  • Exposure to ERP software and willingness to develop in-depth knowledge of ERP functionalities
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills
  • Able to document processes and provide guidance to Key Users
  • Eagerness to learn and grow into an SME role and broaden into project management responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Project Support

  • Participate in all process mapping sessions (As-Is and To-Be) conducted by both the internal process mapping team and vendor, ensuring awareness and understanding of the processes mapped. Contribute by providing input and feedback based on knowledge and experience to support the accuracy and practicality of the documented processes.
  • Coordinate workshops, training, and testing activities across departments.
  • Maintain project documentation, issue logs, and follow up on pending tasks.
  • Prepare reports, user guides, and training materials for review
  • Support data preparation, validation, and migration activities.

ERP Subject Matter Expert (SME) Role

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of ERP system functionalities and modules relevant to ASSB.
  • Act as a first-line subject matter support for Key Users once the system goes live, providing guidance and solutions when they encounter challenges, and escalating unresolved issues to the ERP Business Project Lead or vendor as needed.
  • Assist in conducting training sessions and refreshers for Key Users.
  • Help troubleshoot issues raised by Key Users, document resolutions, and ensure knowledge is shared back to the wider team.
  • Work with departments to identify improvement opportunities in processes and ERP usage.

Change Management & User Adoption

  • Support communication of ERP changes and ensure staff are aware of new processes.
  • Encourage Key Users to champion ERP adoption by providing them with the necessary support and guidance.
  • Collect feedback from Key Users to improve training and system usage post-implementation.

Continuous Improvement & Future Projects

  • After go-live, serve as a functional reference point for ERP usage in daily operations.
  • Participate in ongoing system enhancement projects, updates, or audits.
  • Support other IT project management activities within the organization beyond ERP, including cross-departmental improvement initiatives, IT system implementations and support, or transformation projects as assigned.
